Moscow: Authorities Warned of Virus Emails Sent on Behalf of MFC

Moscow: The Department of Information Technology (DIT) of Moscow recorded the distribution of malicious emails sent on behalf of the My Documents multifunctional centers. Rusbase was told about this in the press service of DIT.

According to DIT, letters with the subject “Your compensation payments end on 10/14/2019. Information in the attached file ”is sent to residents of the capital from e-mail [email protected] The virus is contained in an attached document.

DIT experts found that unknown attackers changed the email address of the sender. Letters are sent from a server registered abroad.

“My Documents” warn Muscovites about the actions of fraudsters. Public service centers do not carry out newsletters by e-mail. Upon receipt of such a letter, we recommend that you delete it and in no case open the attached files.e,” the department emphasized.
